24th International Audio Drama and Sound Art Competition 2026
The International Audio Drama and Sound Art Competition will be held for the 24th time in 2026. Sound Artists, directors, speakers, writers, producers, etc. – are welcome to hand in their finished productions. Preconditions are that applicants have not yet published more than three pieces in a professional setting (such as public service media, big national broadcasting institutions or publishers), the production itself (not older than two years) has not been recorded in cooperation with public service media or been published by a commercial publisher and is either in German or English (other languages may be approved as long as they are not essential for the understanding of the plot).
Every applicant may only send in one submission (minimum 3 minutes long, but not longer than 45 minutes), additional or shorter plays can be submitted to Short Audio Drama competition. Please send it in as mp3 (320 kbit/sec).
Entry deadline for the 24th International Audio Drama Competition is February 1rst 2026.
